Robert's obituary
Robert Bargas, 83, of Denver, CO, passed away on December 11, 2022 after a long battle with Cancer.
His life wasn’t always easy had a lot of ups and downs, but family was truly the center of his life.
Robert was born on June 13, 1939 to Thomas and Carmen Bargas in Denver Colorado. He had his first child Robert D Bargas Jr., at 21 and then he met Dolores. They had 5 children together. Son, Vincent C Bargas, daughter, Laura Lovato, daughter, Paula Telles, son, Roman Bargas and daughter, Nicole Contreras. He has 12 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren His family meant more to him than anything else in the world.
Roberts enjoyed playing poker with his mom, brothers and sisters and it was a ritual that lasted until his death. His favorite music of course was the “oldies”, but his favorite actor and singer was Mr. Dean Martin. He loved watching his variety shows and roasts and his music, well, he couldn’t get enough of. He was also a passionate Bingo player and could often be found at Slammers on Saturday mornings at 11:00am.
His most favorite past time was watching TV. Whether it be sports or a western Maverick was one of his favorites to watch. Oh, and don’t bother him when the Price Is Right was on, that is one show he would not miss. Lastly if you knew him you knew he was always the best dressed person in the room. No matter where he went he always looked and smelled his best.
Robert was predeceased by his Father Tom Bargas, Mother Carmen Bargas, Brother Tom Bargas and sisters, Rose Galindo, Julie Quinones, and Ruth Sena. He is survived by his remaining sisters, Martha Sanchez and Loretta Gonzalez, countless nieces and nephews and his childhood friend Lawrence Maynes.
The family requests that all flowers and notes are sent to Immaculate Heart of Mary at 11385 Grant Dr, Northglenn, CO, 80233. Rosary at 10:30, funeral at 11:00 and a reception will follow.
