Robert D. “Bobby" Gibson, 60, of Evans, WV, passed away January 7, 2022 at his home following an extended illness.

He was born August 6, 1961 in Charleston, WV a son of Pansy O. (Slater) Gibson of Evans and the late Clifford R. Gibson. In addition to his father he was also preceded in death by his brothers, Tommy Gibson and Eric Gibson.

Bobby was a lumberjack and enjoyed hunting, fishing and riding and showing his paint horses.

Surviving in addition to his mother are, brothers, Chuck Gibson and Danny Gibson; sister, Debbie Beegle and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside service will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, January 24, 2022 at the Longview Cemetery, Evans, WV with Pastor Bradley Goodwin officiating.
