Bob's obituary
Our loving father, Robert “Bob” Charles Myers, Jr., of Yuba City, passed away on Tuesday, September 13, 2022, at the young age of 58.
Bob was born on June 22, 1964 in Bellflower, CA. After graduating from Yuba City High School in 1982, Bob began his career at the City of Yuba City Parks Department in 1990 until he retired in December, 2020. He was a talented landscaper who alongside his career with the City, ran a successful landscaping business of his own.
Bob had a love for adventure and learning. He had certificates for just about everything you can imagine. From his pilot’s license to his pesticide license, he wanted to do it all. In his free time, Bob enjoyed making Sunday breakfast for his kids, flying his airplanes, traveling, gardening and fishing. He had the biggest heart and his love for his family and friends was immeasurable.
Bob was preceded in death by his mother, Leona Lawson; his step-father, Richard Lawson; and his father, Robert Charles Myers, Sr.
He will be greatly missed by his son, Jordan Myers; his daughter, Kelsey Myers; his sister, Debbie Ryan and her husband, John; his brother, Mike Myers and his wife, Tammie; as well as many other friends and family members who loved him dearly.
A Celebration of Bob’s Life will be held on Sunday, November 6, from 12pm-3pm, at the Yuba City Senior Center - 777 Ainsley, Avenue, Yuba City. Please RSVP using the event tab.
