Lieutenant Colonel Robert E. Casanova was born on June 09, 1930 in Montreal, Wisconsin. Robert passed away on January 18, 2024 after a very sudden decline in his health. Robert was only 93 years of age.

Robert is survived by his loving wife, Alma, three children: Michael Casanova, his wife, Nina Casanova, Carol Casanova and Judy Casanova. Robert also leave behind six grandchildren and his younger brother Dennis Casanova. Robert was predeceased by his daughter, Linda Casanova.

Robert was a veteran of the Korean and Vietnam Wars, where he earned several medals, including the Bronze Star and the Army Meritorious Service Medal. He served twenty-one years with distinction in the Army receiving multiple medals and commendations.

Robert will be buried at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
