Bob and I first met at Morehead State University during my first week in attendance. He and a friend walked by me and a friend as we were sitting outside our dorm Allie Young Hall. We spoke briefly, but a few days later I was playing pingpong in the Student Union Building and had defeated a couple of guys when Bob stood up to play against me. He beat me handily and seemed rather smug about it. I left not expecting to see him again. However, a couple of days later  he was walking by as I was leaving the Student Union Building and waved to me. He then asked me to go to a movie with him. This was the beginning of our over 66 year relationship filled with romance and love. And he never let me forget that he had ended my pingpong run!
