Bob's obituary
Our beloved husband and father Robert "Bob" Burrows entered into the arms of his savior on November 23, 2022 and is fully restored.
Bob was born to Stella and Chester Burrows on January 29, 1958, in Milwaukee, WI. When Bob was younger, his family briefly moved to California, where he had the opportunity of meeting Walt Disney. They later moved to a suburb of Cleveland, OH, where he essentially grew up. He worked at SeaWorld of OH during high school and college. He attended the University of Miami and graduated with a bachelor's degree in Marine Biology. He eventually moved to Maryland and started work with the Federal Government. He also earned a master's degree in Environmental Science from Johns Hopkins University, all while working and supporting a family. He retired from NOAA-NOS as an oceanographer after 35 years of service in 2020. Bob met Debbie, while volunteering at Rockville Little Theater and they shared that love of theater throughout their 36 plus years of marriage. Bob & Debbie went on to have their son, Matthew, who is their pride and joy, truly God's gift to them. Bob was active in his church, Seneca Creek Community Church, serving on the parking team and was also an unofficial greeter, always seeking out new visitors. He loved sharing the gospel, with as many people as possible, through his million-dollar bill gospel tracts and through his involvement with the Christian Motorcyclist Association. He was also a member of the National Capital Panthans( dedicated to all things Edgar Rice Burroughs).
Bob joins his parents, his brother, Tom, along with other family members in Heaven. He is survived by many loving family members, including his brother David and his sister, Diane, as well as a number of nieces and nephews.
