It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Robert "Bill" Brentlinger, affectionately known as Bill, a man whose kindness and strength will be deeply missed. Born January 5, 1955, Bill led a life full of love and resilience until his passing on December 18, 2025.

Bill leaves behind a loving circle of family. His beloved daughter, Marcy Jenkins; his son-in-law, Eric Jenkins; his loving partner and companion, Donna Fletcher; his brothers, Mike and John Brentlinger; and his uncle, Bill Roof will forever remember him fondly. His grandsons, Tyler Brentlinger, Jaden Myers, Tylee Diaz, and Tyce Diaz, granddaughter, Sara Brentlinger, great-granddaughter Laylani Myers, along with his close friend and riding partner Leon, all who will cherish their memories of Bill's loving orneriness and wisdom.

In addition to his immediate family, he is also survived by his nephews, Mike, Jonathan, Michael, Terry, John Brentlinger, and Brian Higgins, and his niece, Frances Brentlinger, who all held great affection for their Uncle Bill. His influence, guidance and love will continue to live on in their lives.

Bill now rejoins his predeceased loved ones; his mother, Phyllis Roof; his father, John Brentlinger; his beloved son, Wade Brentlinger; his niece, Denise Brentlinger Chavis; his nephew, Robert Bollinger; and his sister, Phyllis Styles. Their memories stand as a testament to the bonds of a family that continue even after we say our last goodbyes.

Bill led a life of quiet dedication, often finding solace in tinkering with cars. He had a spirit of curiosity and an unyielding passion for understanding how things worked.  Bill loved races and enjoyed working on race cars. His hobbies brought him joy and tranquility that he often shared with those around him, making every moment count.

As we celebrate the life of a man who touched so many, we also remember the love he shared for his loved ones, the strength he showed, and the adventurous life he led. Bill's spirit, his stories, and his love will endure in the hearts of those who knew him, continuing his legacy of warmth and resilience as we remember him with love. 

A celebration of Bill's life will be held by his daughter, Marcy at her home on January 10th, 2026.
