Bob's obituary
Robert, "Bob" Clyde Bowers, 77, of Auburn, WA, passed away on February 5, 2022 in Auburn. WA, from covid pneumonia.
Bob was born April 22, 1944 in Ontario, OR to Clyde & Nell Bowers.
He graduated from Nyssa High School in 1962. He went on to study Industrial arts at Southern Colorado State, in Pueblo, Colorado. In 1965 he began his career at The Boeing Company where he worked as a NC Machinist until his retirement 2000.
In 1966, he met Rita Howe, and they wed later that same year, going on to have three children, Brad, Lisa & Michelle. Robert was a force of nature, determined to provide for his family and give them the life he felt they deserved. His family meant more to him than anything else in the world, something he often mentioned. He was unendingly proud of Brad, Lisa & Michelle, and Rita and always did his best to support them. Robert was also a passionate working with leather, riding 4-wheelers on the Oregon coast and wood working and could often be found fishing and camping with friends and family when he wasn’t at home.
Anyone who knew Robert knew that he was the most loving father and husband a family could ask for. He was an amazing man.
The family requests that all flowers and notes are sent to, The Bowers Home: 5710 Auburn Way South, Auburn, WA 98092. His funeral will be: Fri. Feb. 25, 2022 at Holy Family Church 505 17th St. S.E. Auburn, WA 98002 at 11am. Reception to follow at Brad Bowers home: 19018 107th St. E. Bonney Lake, WA 98391.
