Background

After a battle with cancer, Bob Klenda passed away on April 15th, 2026. He was a devoted husband and father, a respected craftsman, and a generous teacher who sought to share his love of saddle making with anyone willing to learn. He built his life around his family, his work, and the western traditions he loved. He treated people with kindness, carried himself with humility, and left a lasting impression on anyone who met him.

Our family will be bringing Dad back home to Meeker, Colorado, where we will be honoring his life and saying our final goodbyes. The Klenda family will be hosting a gathering to welcome the many people whose lives he touched over the years. Sharing stories, remembering his work, and spending time together will mean a great deal to all of us.

Please consider donating to the Bob Klenda Memorial fund. All donations will be used to help Bob's memory live on in the cause he worked so hard to support. However, we are still working on the exact details of what this will look like. We will be posting updates to this memorial as they are finalized.

We are grateful for every kindness shown to our family and for any help in honoring his life this way.
