Dear friends,
It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Bob ( Zakk ) Giannette, this morning February 9th 2025. He valiantly fought his battle with colon cancer since July of 2023, when they gave him roughly a month to live.
With Karen by his side every moment, and the amazing love of his children, the will to fight for his life was like nothing short of miraculous. With 42 rounds of chemo under his belt; then multiple rounds of immunotherapy, he fought til the very end and endured solely to not leave his wife and children.
Since Bob was an independent contractor and worked for himself, he has had no income for many months now.
For many years, Zakk helped countless families selflessly through hard times and gave his support, time and attention to kids in need as president of B.A.A.K.
Please help us give this loving father, husband, friend and leader the send off he deserves. Thank you all for your love, strength and support during this difficult journey. Contribute
