Bob's obituary

Robert B Stephen  born 6/10/1946 in York , Nebraska  to John and Kathyrn Stephen. The family moved to Brighton, Colorado  in 1956. Bob graduated from Brighton  High School in 1964 .  He was drafted into the Army in December 1965, serving in Vietnam from December 1966 to November  1967.  In December  1967 he began  a 32 year  career  at IBM. In July 1969 he married his  high school  sweetheart, Loretta Eberly. They made their  home in  Thornton , Colo., where  they  still  resided at the time of Bob's  death. After  retirement  from  IBM in 1999 , Bob  worked for AT&T for 5 years, then at his brother Terry s  veterinarian  hospital for 10 . While  serving in  Vietnam  Bob  encountered  chemical  warfare,  which affected  his  health in later years. He  passed away on December  15, 2023 , from  interstitial  lung disease. He is survived  by  Loretta, his wife of 54 years, his son  Chad, his wife Loretta, and children, Cody, Shyanne and Dante and great grandchildren Layla  and Deacon.  Also, son Eric,  his wife Megan,and children  Dakota,  Aubree, Deja, Eric  Jr.  and  Ryder. A celebration  of  life  is planned for May.
