Robert F. Austin (Bob), Ph.D., GISP, age 72, of Clearwater, Florida and Asheville, North Carolina, passed away on August 14, 2022, after sustaining critical injuries in an accident.
Bob was born on May 17, 1950, to Margaret Louise (Hammond) Austin and Robert O. Austin in Petoskey, Michigan. He graduated from Southfield High in 1968 where he lettered in basketball and tennis and then attended the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor on an academic scholarship. …
