Robert Allen Bell, Jr. of Phenix City,AL, passed away in SanAntonio, TX on May 14, 2025. Robert was born on January 16, 1964, in Groom, TX to Robert A. Bell, Sr. and Doyla Black Bell. Preceded in death by both his father and mother, Robert is survived by two sons, Kristian Heath Bell(Kendall) of Brunswick, GA, Garrison Allen Bell of Savannah, GA,a stepdaughter, Nichole Moore of Savannah, GA 11 grandchildren, a loving sister, Kenja Purkey (Kenny), nephew Beckett of Amarillo, and niece Indigo of Austin, TX Other family survivors include his step-mother, Polly P. Bell of Smiths Station, AL, a paternal aunt Donna Bell Hutchings (Emory) of Rowlette, TX, paternal uncle Victor Bell of Phenix City, AL, maternal aunt Connie Fulton of Amarillo, TX, maternal uncles Keith Black (Debbie) of Pampa, TX, Kris Black (Gay) of Crawford, OK, and eighteen first cousins.
Robert attended Amarillo College, and CVCC majoring in Commercial Art and Savannah College of Art & Design majoring in videography. He excelled at commercial printing and sign painting. Robert trained and certified as an aircraft structures sheet metal mechanic in 1997 and since contracted with companies all over the United States, most recently at Boeing in San Antonio. Robby was an lifelong avid COWBOYS and Texas Longhorns fan and he made it his mission to let everyone know it. Robby loved playing guitar and sharing his talent for graphic art. He created a life-size wooden Gingerbread House music box for Christmas at Moon Lake in Phenix City, AL, and volunteered time to the team painting of the 25-foot Phoenix mural at the Russell County Court House /Phenix City Amphitheater complex.
Remembered for his willingness to help others and his kind, winning way with animals, Robby's loving heart and gentle spirit will be sorely missed by friends, neighbors, associates and family. The date for a memorial service to be held in Amarillo has not yet been set.
