Was A Sad Day when I heard the news we had lost sweet Fritz.  At that moment my mind raced with all the memories I hold of  him. Most of all his sweet smile, and Beautiful soul. Thanks for the memories Fritz. Rest In Peace I will always Love you, Barb

My condolences to Paige and family, and to all who loved our Fritz.

Fritz had been a high school sweetheart of mine - emphasis on both the 'sweet' and the 'heart' parts, as he was a sweet guy with a giving heart. After high school, we remained good friends and neighbors (49th st) until I moved to San Francisco in 1982.

I was happy to find Fritz on Facebook years ago, to learn that he had married Paige (another adored former neighbor, 44th st), and to see that they were living a happy and love-filled life together.

Anyone who knew Fritz knows he was an animal lover who cared deeply about the environment. I loved this about him. These were traits that were very much a part of who he was. He cared very deeply about the earth and all the living beings on it!

If 'all dogs go to heaven'... then Fritz is up there having a blast with all the animal spirits to cavort with!

Fritz often posted his artwork online and I was impressed - and occasionally even stunned! - by what a great illustrator he had become!

Fritz was a loving, kind, caring, talented man who touched the lives and hearts of many, myself included.

I am saddened by the loss of his life.
