Robbie Strickland Parker Peterson, of Shreveport, Louisiana, passed away at The Oaks of Louisiana on Wednesday, December 29, 2021, after a week full of love and being surrounded by her family. She fought a valiant battle with a rare and cruel neurological disease, Progressive Supranuclear Palsy. Robbie was born May 2, 1932, in Florien, Louisiana, and was raised on a country farm that was filled with love of family and Jesus and 12 siblings. She …

Memorial events are private

A private family viewing was held on Friday December 31, 2021 at Kilpatrick’s Roseneath funeral home in Shreveport, Louisiana. Graveside service was officiated by Rev Betsy Eaves at Forest Park Cemetery where Robbie’s earthly body was laid to rest beside her beloved husband of 42 years, Charles Edward Parker.
