Rizalina's obituary
With heavy hearts, we share the passing of Rizalina Buenacosa (June 19, 1965 – June 7, 2025), lovingly known to many as Sally. She was more than a mother, daughter, sister, grandmother, aunt, and friend—she was a guiding light, a source of joy, and a pillar of strength for everyone around her.
Sally had a heart that never stopped giving. She was always taking care of others, putting everyone else’s needs before her own, whether it was cooking a meal, lending a hand, or simply checking in with a call or text to see how you were doing.
She had a signature way of saying goodbye: “See you soon.” It was never a final farewell—just a promise that she'd be with you again, a reflection of her deeply rooted love and unwavering optimism. She loved being surrounded by people and always looked forward to visits, get-togethers, and capturing memories through photos. She found happiness in simply being with those she loved. Sally's vibrant spirit and joyful presence touched the lives of everyone she met. She brought laughter, warmth, and unwavering love.
Sally leaves behind her mother, siblings, daughter, granddaughter, and nieces - a family who meant everything to her.
Thank you for holding her in your hearts, for sharing your memories, and for being part of the community that meant so much to her.
With love and gratitude,
The Alcantara and Buenacosa Family
