Background
Rita loved Asheville and visited often. She was deeply saddened by the devastation that hurricane Helene caused there, and wished that she could house displaced people from the storm. By donating in her memory, you are helping to fulfill her dream to help those in need in Asheville. Beloved will be building deeply affordable housing for those in need in Swannanoa, North Carolina. It’s our intention that with your contributions, a portion of one of these homes will be in memorial of Rita.
