Rita Corey, the shining STAR of the Deaf worldwide community, who departed us too soon. Her life-threatening anemia with two types of rare blood disorders, Rita persisted, perpetuated & persevered her dignity, integrity & professionalism. She continued to act, consult, & teach. It is without a question that she was admired, respected, & worshipped by all of us. Rita is a change mover, an awesomely creative artist, and a most unique actress. Ivana, her daughter, is handling the closing costs of her mother's estate, cremation & funeral expenses, medical expenses, & lawyer. Her GoFundMe is crucial to help defray overwhelming & exceedingly high expenses. This fund could not cover the memorial services' receptions, the printing of program books & posters of Rita's past plays at Gallaudet & MSD. This EverLoved Fund focuses on the Rita's Life Celebration services for Gallaudet & the Maryland School for the Deaf. With these funds to make these memorial services possible with gratefulness, dignity, and honorable. Rita's passing needs to be celebrated with our generosity, love, & respect.
