Rita Ann Martin Lamb died at the age of 77 on August 18,2023. Rita had been for several years suffering from Alzheimer’s. She passed away at home surrounded by her family. Her immediate family was her husband Richard Lamb, 2 daughters Kim Sitton (Scott), Shana Kent (Jeff) and 1 son Kip (Dawn). She also had 5 grandchildren; Ben Sitton (Emily), Amber Sitton, Yun Sitton, Chad Kent, and Cara Kent. She had one great granddaughter Abby Kay Sitton.

Rita was born on May 1, 1946 in Cookeville Tennessee and was the only child of William Dalton Martin and Joyce Ward Martin. Rita and her husband raised their family in Chattanooga and resided in Harrison, Signal Mountain, Hixson and Red Bank. She was known for the hand crafts that she made and for many years participated in craft shows in and around Chattanooga. She also was a very talented and passionate antique dealer. She also owned 2 antique malls. They were located in the East Ridge area.

Rita and husband (Richard) worshipped at the Red Bank Church of Christ. A visitation will be held at their church on Sunday August 27 from 2pm to 4pm. In her memory donations can be made to either the Red Bank Church of Christ or Hearth Hospice.
