It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Rigoberto Murillo Lujano, who left us much too soon on March 14, 2026. Born on September 23, 1971, Rigo was known for his vivacious personality, humble spirit, excellence in all he did, and his loving heart. Rigo left an indelible imprint on everyone he encountered.

Rigo's life took a beautiful turn in 2017 when he married the love of his life, Susana Murillo. Their son, Rigoberto Jr. Murillo, born in 2020 added music to their lives that they didn’t know existed. The family faced a tragic loss with the premature passing of their twin baby boy, Joseph Murillo.

Rigo was predeceased by his mother, Soledad Lujano Gonzalez, yet her love and teachings were a guiding force in his life until his last day. It’s a comfort to know he’s reunited with her and his son once again, and they undoubtedly welcomed him with open arms to his heavenly home.

His wit could lighten the most solemn of rooms, and his silly, joyful nature often brought smiles and laughter to those around him. His down-to-earth demeanor allowed him to form genuine and meaningful connections with others. These qualities, coupled with his kindness and generosity, were bestowed upon those fortunate enough to be a part of his life journey.

A man gifted in many ways, he touched countless lives. Life, as we know it, will not be the same without him.

A funeral service will be held for Rigo on March 21, 2026, at 12:00 PM at the Alta Vista Mortuary. We invite all friends and family to join us in honoring and celebrating his life.

Rigo’s legacy continues to inspire many. He leaves behind an irreplaceable void, but the stories of his remarkable life, his infectious laughter, and his warm heart will forever echo in the hearts of his loved ones.
