Ricky Lee Guinn was born in Wichita, Kansas to Leonard and Donna (Cain) Guinn on December 24th, 1958. A partial nomad and full free spirit, Ricky lived in several places throughout his life in addition to Kansas including Houston and Seattle though he considered himself Alaskan after having been raised in the state alongside brothers Aaron and Carl. His further travels brought him to places such as Eastern Europe and the Bahamas. Ricky was an amateur screenwriter who also loved science fiction and murder mysteries, board game nights with his grandkids and trying new restaurants. His greatest joy was a good debate and Ricky never missed the chance to drop a joke. Ricky passed December 11th, 2023 in Edmonds, Washington. Though both his father and brother Carl surpassed him in death, Ricky is survived by his daughter Amanda and grandchildren Koda 26, and Ashleigh 20, his mother Donna, brother Aaron and sister-in-law Benita, their children Misty Smith 47, Melissa Bonds 46, Treasure Jones 35, and Travis Guinn 34, and Carl’s widow Ilene and children Patrick Guinn 34, Toni Guinn 33, and Ethan Guinn 21.
