It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Mr. Rick "Papa" Kennedy, who departed this life on August 4, 2023. Born in 1949, Rick, affectionately known as Papa, stood as a pillar of dedication, integrity, and love in the hearts of his dear ones.

He leaves behind a family who dearly loved him. He is survived by his devoted wife, Karen, bringing with them a unified family centered in love. His daughters, Michelle, Sherri, and Becky K,

 respectively, were among his greatest accomplishments. His legacy also blossoms with his grandchildren, as he is survived by nine grandkids and fifteen great-grandkids, 

Rick had a soft spot for simple pleasures. He relished his Diet Coke and Popsicles, enjoyed dabbling in Facebook, and had a penchant for old TV shows and the movie Forrest Gump. However, it was in his favorite recreational activities - fixing things and building houses - that his hardworking and reliable persona shined through.

Always accompanied by his trusted canine companion, Cody, Rick embodied the axiom that it's never too late to change your life around. His spirit echoes in his tangible accomplishments like the many houses he constructed, and also in his profound impact on his family and friends.

We believe it's a cause that Rick, a man who spent his life building frameworks of love and resilience, would have stood for.
