It is with heartfelt sorrow that we announce the passing of Mr. Rick Handlon, on the 25th of April, 2025. Born on the 18th of March, 1954, Rick lived a life filled with determination and warmth, affecting many with his strong will and friendly demeanor.

Rick was a dedicated serviceman, having retired from the United States Army in 1980 - a testament to his unyielding dedication and discipline. While his career was a significant part of his life, he was most fondly remembered as a loving family man.

Rick was a beloved father to his son, Andrew Handlon. Additionally, he held a close and endearing relationship with his daughter-in-law, Crystal Handlon. Rick was also the cherished grandfather to Athena, Rionach, Margaret, and Elli Handlon. His joy and pride in his grandchildren were evident and heartwarming, with each birth- June 18, 1982, October 3, 2014, 2016, 2020, and 2022, brought him immense happiness.

He is also survived by his sister, Debra Brasher, who will remember him fondly and with love. Predeceased by his parents, Evelyn and Carl Handlon, we find comfort knowing they have been reunited once more.

Rick's absence will be profoundly felt by his nieces, nephews, and friends scattered all over the globe. His legacy, however, will live on through the lives he touched with his resilient spirit and friendly nature.

In these moments of great loss, we remember Rick not only for his accomplishments but for his character. His strong resolve served as an inspiration to many, and his friendly disposition brought joy to any room. His memory will linger on, not only in our minds but in our hearts.
