Personal note

I once told my son that I’ve had enough good times in my life for two lifetimes and I meant it. The time has come for me to be with God and I want to say how grateful I am for having you in my life - you made it that much richer. From as early as I can remember I’ve worked hard and I certainly wanted to make my parents proud - I believe I did just that and I wish they could have been a part of it all. I loved to laugh and bring laughter to others. I loved the Cleveland Browns even though they broke my heart on more than one occasion. I loved getting on my Harley and hitting the open road.

Most of all I loved my friends and family. Tim, thank you for all of the memories, you were my best friend and I’ll be seeing you again - take your time. Tarah and Mark, I loved you like you were my own and I am so grateful you came into our lives. The biggest joy of my life was being a father and getting to raise my son Adam and daughter Sarah - they literally meant the world to me. I am so proud of both of them and the amazing people they have become. They gave me four incredible grandchildren who filled my life with so much happiness. My wife Shelly was my best friend and we had 40 beautiful years together. Marrying you was the best decision I ever made and my life was filled with love because I got to do it with you. When you remember me, remember the good times we had, the laughs, the smiles, and the moment. Thank you for everything and I love you - Rick.
