Richard's obituary
Richard's childhood took place in many locations, beginning in Cambridge, Baltimore, and finally Connecticut. He began his career in journalism at the University of New Haven, where he also made lifelong connections through the formation of the school's lacrosse team. His career continued at several newspapers before he began his 27 year career, retiring in the Institutional Relations department at the University of Connecticut. Retirement brought Richard and his wife to New Hampshire where he enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife, Kristina, and his children Andrew and Adele Veilleux; as well as his grandchildren, Landon, Peyton, Addison (Black), and Shannon, and Colin (Veilleux).
