Richard's obituary
Richard G. Troxell, 77 of Whitehall, peacefully passed away Tuesday September 10, 2024 at St. Luke’s Hospital in Allentown, surrounded by his daughters.
Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late John Troxell Sr. & Gladys (Schuller)(Troxell) Croll and Step-son of Raymond Croll.
Rich, worked at General Electric/Black & Decker for 18 years until their closing in 1986. He then went Justborn Inc., where he retired in 2021 after 34 years of service . After retirement to stay in shape he worked PT at ABE Airpot in passenger services, until July 2024, where he made many new friends. His favorite place was Atlantic City, where great memories were made and lots of deposits made too along the way! He really loved his Friday lunches at The Beef Baron, with the Friday crew. He also loved making lobster & Cajun shrimp.
He is survived by his daughters, Flavian Atiyeh and husband Abraham with whom he resided and Rochelle Frankenfield and husband Chris, 11 grandchildren and 11 great-grand Children. He is also survived by a brother John Troxell Jr. and a sister Cynthia Snyder, both from Allentown. He is predeceased by his brother James Troxell.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday October 27th, which would’ve been his 78th Birthday, from 10am-2pm at Race Street Bar & Grill.
