Me and Dick work together at whirlpool and became very close friends I didn’t see him very often but I had the change to go out to his house last year and sit and talk with him and his wife for a while always thought the world of dick I know the family misses him dearly and I’ll miss his smiling face Rest in peace my friend

I was saddened today to hear of Dick’s passing.  He was my ferrier for many years and so much fun .  He surely is missed by many in our community.

Go Pack Go

John & Dick met 57 years ago while stationed at Gunter AFB, Montgomery,  Alabama.  Oh! the stories they shared of those wonderful days as young Airman.

We all were neighbors & friends until John was deployed overseas in 1968.  We never lost contact in all those years..  So honored when his daughter became my namesake.

Our hearts were broken when we received word of Dick's passing. We are so, so grateful we had one  long, last, comical phone call with him in January.

REST IN PEACE DICK STROUD!

FOREVER IN OUR HEARTS❤❤
