Just now viewing this obituary for Rick Stegmeyer. I met Rick and wife Joanie through his son Sean. I had the pleasure of staying with him and Joanie at their lovely home in Michigan. At that time he was dealing with major health issues but he faced them with stoicism and bravery. RIP Rick and thanks for the great memories of you and your family. Our hearts go out to Kirk, Eric, Shawn and ALL the Stegmeyer family over Rick's passing. To me, he was larger than life, especially as I've had the privilege and pleasure to work with and befriend him and so many of his family. Indeed, I always took a special sort of peace when I would find him at his desk. I hope you all find solace knowing how many lives he touched, and how many lives you all continue to touch in his shadow. Long live the legend! <3
