Richard Bryan Scott born October 24th 1971 was called home to the lord on May 29th 2022 in South Carolina. Born in Akron Ohio and raised in Green, Rick was a 1990 graduate of Green High School and attended the University of Akron. Although he spent His early years in Ohio , he later made his home in the Carolina's where he worked as a Maintenance Engineer.

Rick was an amazing man, with an incredible sense of humor, a compassionate heart and devoted to his family. Rick had a passion for music, all music, and was a talented guitar player. When he wasn't creating music, he enjoyed drag racing with his dragway 42 family or spending quiet evenings at home , dedicating hours to research and socializing with his World War II Ranger group. He was happy to help any and all who needed him, be his family, friends, or the Veteran families he met along the way. To know Rick, was to know a better world, one with laughter and light, the world will seem a little darker until we see him again one day. Our hearts are broken, but his soul is free.

Rick is proceeded in death by his father, Harold Wayne Scott. He is survived by his loving wife of 23 years Jill (Balinski-Sporn) of Hilton Head, SC, Son Zachary of Green Ohio and Daughter Brittany Scott of North Ridgeville OH. Grandchildren, Anthony and Alyssa. He will be deeply missed by his Mother Linda, sisters Michelle (John) Maximovich of Florida and Meggan (Jim) Black of Green Ohio.
