With heavy hearts, we announce the peaceful passing of Richard Warren Sams at Wentworth Lodge, Dundas, on Friday, October 4, 2024, at the age of 73. Richard was born June 26, 1951 to parents June and Ray.

He leaves behind his beloved children, Melanie, Kayla and husband Christian. David and Spencer. Richard cherished grandchildren Emma, Julia and many nieces and nephews. Survived by his siblings Debby, Lynda and Brian. Cherished by close friends, Michelle, Jason and their children Annabelle, Gracie whose companionship brought him much joy.

Richard’s warmth, generosity, and love will remain forever in the hearts of those who knew him.

A funeral service will be held at Marlatt Funeral Home, 195 King Street West, Dundas, on Friday October 18th at 1pm. Family and friends are invited to join in celebrating Richard’s life and to share in the memories.
