It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Richard Ruiz, who passed away on February 19, 2023. Born on November 28, 1984 in Morelia, Michoacán, Mexico, Richard was a witty, hardworking, and loving father whose presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Richard is survived by his sons Alfonzo Ruiz, Vince Ruiz and Aleks Ruiz; his sisters Nallely Guzman and Norma Ruiz and his mother Eva Garcia. 

Richard was well-respected in his profession as a mechanic, where his colleagues valued his strong work ethic and dedication to his craft. His quick wit and good humor contributed to an upbeat and positive atmosphere, making him a favorite among his peers.

In his personal life, Richard was a devoted father who treasured every moment spent with his children. His warmth and love for his family were evident to all who knew him, and his memory will be cherished by those whose lives he touched.

A visitation for Richard will be held on February 24, 2023, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Fairhaven Memorial Park & Mortuary. Friends, family, and colleagues are welcome to honor his memory and to celebrate a life well-lived. As we mourn the loss of Richard Ruiz, we also express our gratitude for the happiness, love, and laughter he brought into our lives.
