Richard Tyler Rivera( aka Ricky) was a father of four.. Tyler, Lindsay, Chris, and Leilani and a grandfather of 12. He also leaves behind his wife of 5 years Christina Blackwell-Rivera. Richard was an Army veteran and served in Desert Storm.

We will miss his bright smile and his ability to make anyone laugh. His big heart was displayed by the business he opened to assist veterans deal with PTSD. He was the hardest working man in any profession. He moved to the United States from Puerto Rico after his mother decided she wanted him to live a better life. Richard thrived in everything he set his mind for and his children definitely took after that. Per request from his will, there will not be a funeral nor a picture posted on his obituary. His ashes will return back to Puerto Rico and spread over the same river as his father. There will also be a military send off that's open to the public at the river the day of. You will be missed by everyone Ricky! We love you
