It is with deep sorrow and much love that we announce the passing of Richard Douglas Rindt, who left us on July 13, 2025, at the age of 58 in Normal, Illinois.

Richard was a devoted father, a talented writer, and a man of many interests. He spent 15 years as a technical writer at State Farm Mutual Automobile Insurance Company, where he was respected for his attention to detail, strong work ethic, and dedication to his craft.

He was a passionate movie buff and a collector of all things—baseball cards, memorabilia, and items that told stories or captured memories. Richard loved photography, music, and had a quick wit with a love of laughter. Whether he was walking, biking, swimming, skating, or paddleboarding, he found joy in the outdoors. A lifelong Chicago Cubs fan, he cheered faithfully through every season.

Above all, Richard was a proud father and is lovingly survived by his four children:

Jordan Rindt, Carly Morrow, Kayla Rindt, and Jenna Rindt.

Funeral Service: 11:00 a.m.
