Richard Avery Remington, born September 16, 1956 passed away peacefully in the early morning hours of Saturday September 24, 2022 at his home in Davie, Florida at the age of 66.

Big Fish Rick, as he was known to his friends, is survived by his wife, the love of his life for 26 years, Catherine Remington and his step daughter Alexandra Heventhal, his son Robert Remington, wife Susanne and their daughter Skyler; his daughter Lauren Rigler, husband Taylor and their children Hudson, Remington and Addison; his brother Randall Remington, his nephew Cody Remington and niece Stacey Seay, husband Whit and their son Ryan.

Rick was preceded in death by his parents Robert G Remington and Ruth Abigail Remington, his brother Reed Remington and his sister Russell Ann Remington.

Richard was a graduate of the College of Boca Raton and an avid fisherman. There was nothing he enjoyed more than being out on the ocean or enjoying time at home with his wife. His passing will be forever felt in the lives of his family and he will be missed tremendously.

At Richards request there will be no service at this time. We ask that you keep his wife and children in your thoughts and prayers as they privately deal with their loss.
