(Boone) Richard David Pierce, died unexpectedly in his home on February 16, 2023. He was born July 11, 1960, in Knoxville, TN, “in the back of a hearse,”according to him, in Aunt Thelma’s driveway. The son of Gordon D. Pierce (Cotton) and Beulah (Jeanette) Pierce, at the age of 25 he and Robyn Renee Pierce, also preceded in death by both of his parent’s Gordon his father in 2009. Beulah in 2005, His sister Audrey and his older brother Stevie, Boone was a man of few words but, when he spoke you better listen because if you didn’t he would make sure you heard him. He liked rooster fighting and playing poker and loved western shows and movies. He was a thinker and could do anything you can think of. At the age of 25 he had a child Brandon Pierce with Robyn Pierce. Robyn already had a child Heather Pace (Jordan), So here he is young and not having a clue what to do, so he did anything he could to take care of his family as he felt a man should. He had a lot of hardships in his life but, he always came back out on top. Because he was patient. He did the best he could to take care of a wife and two children. Cutting trees, selling cars, heating and air work. He took great care of his family, they never had to do without. He took Heather in just like she was his own. Because even though he was always a grouch, he wanted to be needed and needed to be wanted and nobody could ever do anything right but, everyone that knew him, knew that’s just how Boone was. He liked to be right but, that’s the kind of drive he had. The need to always be right, to be the best at things. He put his all into everything he did. He was all in or all out. He never done anything “halfway,” in his life. This drive and determination always served him well through out the years. Boone was not a quitter, his ability to persevere, would be admired by any man. He has been suffering with medical issues for quite a while now and he had made his peace with the LORD, Finally going home to his long lost love Robyn who has spent so much time waiting for her husband. He is gone but, never forgotten always in our hearts and our prayers memories, survived; by his son Brandon Pierce and wife Daughter in-law Heather Pierce; Step-daughter Heather Jordan (whom he thought of as his own daughter and raised as his own) Ashton Pace (Mae Mae) (whom he also thought of as a daughter and raised as his own) Grandchildren; Bane Pierce, Balor Pierce, Remington Pierce.
