Obituary

Richard Victor Oulahan was born on June 12, 1945, in Belfast, to Peggy Wilson from Green Island, Northern Ireland, and Courts McCall Oulahan, from Washington D.C. 

He graduated from St. Alban’s School in Washington D.C. in 1963 and Haverford College in 1967. He was an avid scholar and educator, committed to social justice, becoming a Fulbright Scholar in Ecuador and subsequently a Peace Corps volunteer in Honduras, Central America.

Thank you so much for everyone's love and support during this difficult time. Losing Richard Victor, a loving husband, father, and grandfather, has been very difficult, but it has been made a little easier by you, his global family, friends, and community. Since we cannot all get together in person, we hope that this site can be a place for us to come together to remember Richard Victor, share memories, and support each other. We will miss him tremendously and would love to have you share your favorite memories and pictures of him on this website.
