It is with a heavy heart that we receive the news about Dick. My memories of him date back to our time together at the BAC, where we both served as officers in a club dedicated to fellowship and travel activities for its members. Dick and Jan were dear friends, joining us on many rallies, including our very first rally as Rally Master.

I fondly remember our visit to Boeing during the Jet City Rally when one of our members posed a question to Dick. He responded with his trademark quick wit: "What do you think I am, a rocket scientist? Hey, wait a minute, I am a Rocket Scientist!" That moment captured the essence of Dick—his humor, his intelligence, and his charm. He was truly a great guy who brought joy to many of us, as well as his knowledge of wine.

As we reflect on the impact Dick had on our lives and the community, my heart goes out to all who knew him. His legacy of laughter and camaraderie will continue to live on in our memories.

Sorry we didnt hear about this.  He was a member of the Fort Flagler group.  I know BAC will miss him terribly.  Carol and I especially.
