Richard's obituary
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Richard McElhannon, on January 23, 2024. Born on December 28, 1956, Richard lived a fulfilling life, imbued with a laid-back personality that endeared him to all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
Richard is survived by his cherished daughter, Sherrie LeFevre, her husband Brandon LeFevre; his admirable step-daughters, Wendy Clifford, her husband Roger Clifford, Andrea Parsons; his grandchildren, great-grandchildren and a great-great grandchild; his sister, Donna McElhannon; his brother, Sandy McElhannon, and his wife LaVeda McElhannon; his many niece's and nephew's Richard’s memory will continue to live on through those who loved him and those whose lives he touched.
He was preceded in death by his wife Karen McElhannon; his parents, Arthur and Muriel McElhannon; his beloved siblings, Diana Cody, Darlene Arnett, and David Godfrey. The loss of Richard will leave an irreversible void in the family he loved so deeply.
Richard was a man of strong character and a hard worker whose accomplishments resonate not just in his personal and professional life but also in the hearts of all who knew him. His humble demeanor and effortless charisma will continue to inspire many.
Richard’s life was one to be celebrated, and though he is no longer with us, his memory will forever be etched in our hearts. As we mourn the loss of Richard, may we all find solace in the meaningful and fulfilling life he led. Rest in peace, Richard McElhannon, you will be missed.
