Dick Marks, thank you, what a beautiful tribute of Uncle Dick. His greatest legacy is his family and the faith in God he inspired to all around him. Well done, good and faithful servant!

So thankful we got to spend time with him last June at the family reunion. He reminded me of my Dad because they look and sound alike. Uncle Dick had a great sense of humor. We were watching a slideshow of old pictures when he was growing up. I asked him, "Uncle, who was the most handsome of all your brothers?"  He paused, and then said, "I think, it is Me!"

Uncle lived a life well-lived. He is in the best place, in the presence of God. May you find peace and comfort and cherish all the wonderful memories you had with him.

God bless the Dick Marks,

Tim, Marnie, Callie, David + Josiah, Taryn and Jared

Our Family fondly remembers the fun times in the summer when we drove to Calif & Uncle Dick took time to teach/play tennis & give pointers to the Kids!

We also remember his generosity in passing out HongBows to the younger generation w instructions to study & work hard!

In the past, when our Dad had some problems, Uncle Dick came to help & he also took care of NginNgin & was the handyman fixing things around the house, cleaning the pool & pulling weeds in the yard… I wondered why he was staying so long & now I realize he was giving support to our Mom & Dad out of love for his younger brother, my Dad & honoring his Mom, our NginNgin.

Thank you Uncle Dick ❤️

Love Arlie, Michael & our Kids Marissa, Bethany & Josh who grew up visiting the Dick Marks

Mark Family Reunion — with Arlene Mark-Ng

Dear Aunty Lil, cousins Dean, Kim, Faye, Glenn, Lynne, and families,

We hold so many wonderful memories of our dear Uncle Dick, the beloved patriarch of our Mark family at 148 Marks (seven generations of Marks in America). Earlier this summer, we were especially grateful that Uncle/Granduncle/Great-Granduncle Dick was able to visit Seattle, his hometown, for a Mark family reunion.

At the last reunion dinner, Uncle Dick offered the prayer before the meal—an incredibly meaningful and memorable blessing for our family. Later, I had the opportunity to share all nine chapters of the draft Mark family history book with him, and he warmly approved the beautiful design and layout created by Cousin Heather Chen.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.

With love and blessings,

Terry Mark and Benson Wong
