Ricardo "Richard" Lucero passed away on April 24th, 2016 at the age of 83 in Fresno, CA. He was born on September 9th, 1932 in Trinidad, CO to Marina and Bernardino Lucero.

As of August 2023, Richard is survived by his sister Dorothy Lucero of Fresno, Children Juana Lucero of Vegas, Jessie Ann Lucero of Fresno, Richard L. Lucero of Fresno, Tommy Lucero of Fresno,  Anthony L. Lucero of Fresno, ten grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his mother Marina, father Bernardino, sister Josephine, brothers Benjamin, Valentin, Eloy, Frank, and Louis. 

A ceremony to celebrate the lives of Joyce and Richard Lucero will be held on Friday, August 25, 2023, @ 10:00 AM at the Washington Colony Cemetery, where they will both be laid to rest.
