Richard Lee Lohmeyer, age 86, of Deforest WI. passed away peacefully on July 22nd, 2024. He was born on November 24, 1937, in Bloomington, Illinois to Harry Franklin Lohmeyer and Esther Wilhelmina Jackman.

Richard was a loving, caring husband, father, grandfather (Papa/Gramps), and great-grandfather. Known for his infectious laughter and mischievous spirit, he always brought joy to those around him. A simple man at heart, he will be deeply missed. He loved his kids, grandkids, and great-grandkids with all his might and cherished every moment spent with them.

A retired truck driver, Richard had countless stories to tell and a knack for keeping everyone entertained. His determination and dedication to his family were unparalleled.

He is survived by his Children Richard Lohmeyer II, Jeffrey Lohmeyer I, Michael Lohmeyer, and Amanda Garcia Crump. His Grandchildren: Amy, Amber, Ashley, Richard, Jeffrey, Derek, Lexie, Juliana, Alicyn, Ariana, Darien, Jessica, Karina, Heather, and Kayla and 20 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife Gabbie Adams, his two children Greg and Anthony Lohmeyer, and his Grandson Dustin Lohmeyer among many other cherished family members and friends.
