Richard's obituary
Our beloved brother and child of the Lord, Richard Lim entered into God’s Kingdom on June 18, 2022 after facing a brave battle with serious health conditions related to diabetes including kidney failure.
Richard was born to U We Sein Lim and Daw Khin Khin Aye on August 24, 1988 in Bago, Burma. When Richard was younger, his favorite activities were engaging in wrestling, playing basketball, playing video games, watching comedies, watching sports, and spending time with his cousins whether at amusement parks, movie theaters, or the swimming pool. He attended Milpitas High School and graduated in 2006. After graduating, he attended community college courses, but ultimately decided to jump straight into the workforce.
In the past decade, Richard became more dedicated to his faith and found joy in assisting the Sunday School children in their weekly lessons. Richard was a loyal servant to God, first and foremost. He loved the church and loved sharing the love and warmth of our Savior, Jesus Christ, with as many people as possible. He was a part of the Myanmar Christian Church of Fremont.
Richard joins his God-loving grand mother, Lu Pi Ying in Heaven. He is survived by many loving family members, including We Sein Lim, Khin Khin Aye, Aung Lin, Albert, Jack, and Khin. He is a devoted cousin of Amy, Amanda, Tom, Kyaw Kyaw, Min Min, Yei Yei, Kyaw Thu Thein, Grace, Stella, Lawrence, O Too, O Zone, Kyaw Thu Ya, Aung Shine, Annis, and Jack. His love and generosity was beyond measure. He will be greatly missed.
"If we live, we live for the Lord; and if we die, we die for the Lord. So, whether we live or die, we belong to the Lord." - Romans 14:8
