Allison, of all the things that I could write about Dick, the most impactful for me, is that whenever we parted after a chance meeting, I always felt better about myself. Dick had the ability, or gift, to put people quickly at ease. He was genuinely interested in you as a person. A rare gift these days.

The world is poorer place without him in it.
