Richard “Poppy Rich” Keve

August 28, 1961 – April 17, 2026

Richard “Poppy Rich” Keve, 64, passed away peacefully on April 17, 2026. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend whose warmth and presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Richard was predeceased by the love of his life, his wife, Roseanna Keve, whose memory he carried with him every day. Together, they shared many happy years in Florida before returning to New Jersey to be closer to their beloved grandchildren, who brought him immense joy and pride.

He is survived by his stepchildren: Genice Gialanela and her daughter Gege; Noel Rosales and Gilbert Rosales, along with their children Rose, Chris, Kimberly, and Ezekial; and his stepson Ronald. He is also survived by Rose Ann and Larry Berberich and their children Colin, Xander, and Lance. Richard cherished his role as “Poppy Rich” and formed special bonds with each of his grandchildren.

Richard had a deep love for motorcycles and could often be found riding or talking about them. He also had a natural talent for fixing things—if something was broken, he was the one everyone called. His hands were rarely still, and he took pride in helping others through his skills.

He was predeceased by his parents and is survived by his brother, Michael, and his sisters, Lisa and Kathy.

Richard will be remembered for his kind heart, his quiet strength, and the love he gave so freely to his family. His legacy lives on in the memories he created and the lives he touched.
