It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Richard Johnsen, a beloved father and friend, on May 22, 2023. Richard was born on March 22, 1952, and throughout the years, he touched the lives of countless people with his relaxed, joyful, loving, and kind-hearted personality.

Richard leaves behind his loving children, Lauren Byrnes and Nicholas Johnsen, as well as four beloved grandchildren, who will forever cherish the memories and lessons their father and grandfather shared. Richard's life was marked by his incredible ability to fix just about anything, a skill he was always eager to share with others. 

Above all, however, he considered his greatest accomplishment to be his children, who were a constant source of pride and joy for him. His love for them was unwavering and immeasurable. Richard's legacy is one of good will and shenanigans, as he brought laughter, joy, and light to every life he touched.

A Celebration of Life for Richard will be held on June 24, 2023, at 3-7PM at Joe's Oyster Bar & Grill. Friends and family are invited to gather and share stories, laughter, and memories in his honor.
