Richard's obituary
Richard Jasiorkowski, Sr., 77, of Orange, CT was a lifelong resident of the state. He was born to John Micheal and Mary Agnes (Kosydar) Jasiorkowski on July 10, 1945. Richard was a devoted father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and member of the community. He was a hard-working man who made a career choice of truck driving and a mechanic, specializing in heavy machinery, which held his interest until he had to reluctantly retire at the age of 62. He enjoyed his work, cared about those in the community, especially children, and loved to spend time with his family. Later on in life, he was diagnosed with Parkinson's which eventually led to his inevitable demise. Richard peacefully passed away at home during the early hours of Tuesday, September 6, 2022.
He is preceded in death by his parents and great-granddaughter, Aliyah Laniyah Lynch of Sebastian, FL who was born to Ashly and Markei Lynch.
Richard is survived by his devoted, loving, lifelong wife of 54 years, Diana Lee (Hill) Jasiorkowski; daughter, Lisa Anne Jasiorkowski; and son, Richard Jasiorkowski, Jr., of Orange, CT. Granddaughters, Ashly (Markei) Anne Lynch and Donna (Oluwaferanmi) Jamie Klotzberger-Oke of Sebastian, FL. Great grandchildren, Monteria, Markei, Jr, Memphis, and Makiya Lynch from Ashly, and from Donna; Javius Rackard, Tanaya Rackard, and Isaiah Klotzberger-Baez of Sebastian, FL. Brothers; Micheal John Jasiorkowski, Sr., of North Stonington, CT, and Joseph (Elizabeth) Gerald Jasiorkowski, Sr., of Chesire, CT. Sister, Maryann (Andrew) Dolores Babcock of Stonycreek, CT. Nephews, nieces, cousins, and close friends. Richard Jasiorkowski, Sr., will continue to be deeply missed and forever loved. The life lessons he has provided us and the happy memories he gave to us will forever live on in our minds and our hearts.
