Richard Dean Hoyt was born in Vineland, NJ (I never knew this until creating this page!) but he grew up in the Rochester/Utica area in the State of New York. From what I understand, he grew up on a farm and evolved into a BBEM - "Big Butter and Egg Man" - as he always liked to call himself. He met my mother, Ann after his career took him to Chicago.
