Richard's obituary
Peacefully surrounded by his loving family, Richard passed on Wednesday December 6th, 2017 at Sunnybrook hospital.
Loved and loving husband of Sylvie Lachance, she was "the love of his life." Treasured Father of Miranda and Ampy to Finlay and Lucia, Dear friend to Carol Kay.
Mentoring step-father to Olivier, Aurelie, and Corinne Gagnon
Son of the late Chappie and Mildred Howes and Brother of Bill (Fikret) Wendy (the late Frank) Judy (Jim) Pat, David (Jennifer)
Son-in-law of Lisette Bizier and the late Normand Lachance, brother-in-law to Rene and Frederic Lachance.
Richard will be missed by his Aunt Pat, Aunt Marion, and Uncle Lawrence, and his many nieces and nephews and cousins.
Richards life was full of adventure and wonder. He was spiritual, creative, humorous, generous and made us all laugh and smile when we were around him. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Sick KIds Hospital, Sunnybrook Veterans wing or The Good Shepherd Minitries.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Beaches Presbyterian Church on Saturday December 16th at 2:00pm Reception to follow in the Church hall.
