He lived a great life with wonderful memories.    He served his country in many ways.
Me and Richard were good brothers and good friends brothers from another mother and we had a lot of fun doing security together for the few years that I was a partner with him. He’s a wonderful guy he will be missed dearly.

I am so sorry for your loss.  I remember Richard always outside playing in the neighborhood.

Richard was an amazing person! I wish I could be there on the 25th but I won't be able too! All of you are in my prayers!

City Presbyterian Church of Albuquerque was blessed that Richard was part of our church family in 2023-2024. Some of us got to know him better by the fact that he attended our small group. I recall one evening when someone read Numbers 6:24-26 The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make his face shine on you and be gracious to you; the Lord turn his face toward you and give you peace. At the conclusion of the reading, Richard suggested that we sing the song that's based on that verse: "The Blessing." Unfortunately, our rendition  didn't come out as it should sound. Nevertheless, each time I now hear that song, I think of our our Brother Richard. Sweet memories.

I'm writing this for my husband Ken Jennings, When Ken and Richard were little and Ken was staying at the Hoaks because his parents were on at work trip to Europe, Ken and Richard were playing in the canyon off of 36th. Richard was eating dirt. Ken told Richard to quit eating dirt because it would make him "sick". Richard turned to Ken and and said , " it will make me six?" Richard then proceeded to put another hand full of dirt in his mouth!
