Richard's obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Richard "Rich" Towle, a beloved husband, father, and grandfather who left us on Jan 20, 2025. Born on Jul 11, 1963, Richard, fondly known as Rich, led a life full of joy, memories, and his signature sarcastic humor.
He leaves behind his adoring wife, Lisa Towle. A true family man, Richard's pride and joy were his children; Axel, Abel, Arlo, and Anna-Linnea Towle, who will sorely miss his presence and wisdom. Not forgetting his precious grandchildren; Elenore, Archer and Aurora Towle, who were the apple of his eye; his mother, Alison Towle; and his five siblings, Steven, Deborah, Bradley, Diane, and Pam. He often stated that his family was his greatest accomplishment and he wore this title with honor and pride.
Rich had a taste for the finer things in life, including Towlehouse Cookies, Guinness, Glenlivet, and old, fast Porsches. His love for Earth, Wind, and Fire always set the tone in the car, along with his favorite TV Shows, Top Gear, and anything on Masterpiece Theater. A fan of anything related to Monty Python, his sense of humor and personality were certainly reflected in his favorite films.
Richard's hobbies spoke volumes about his personality. A man who loved to work with his hands, he enjoyed working on his cars and spending quality time with his family, especially his grandchildren. His favorite vacation spot was Stockholm, where he enjoyed eating as much fresh salmon as possible.
Known for his prickly yet lovable demeanor, Richard was the epitome of a fiercely loyal friend with a heart of gold. He will be remembered for his unyielding loyalty, warm heart, and unforgettable sarcasm. May we find comfort in knowing that his memory and spirit will live on through his family and friends.
